Bodyform VIP Pink Ticket Campaign is back and you could WIN big this year by just buying your usual period must-haves.

Do you remember when in my Strengthening Your Pelvic Floor post I said that I want to ban the taboo on my blog? Well, here ya go ladies (and gents – Hi Dad!) we’ve got a post all about periods! Yup, you heard me right this post I’ll be talking about that time-of-the-month and how getting your lady time doesn’t have to be the end of the world. STOP THE PRESS, say whaaaaat? Ladies. There’s more to life than letting a little blood stop you doing what you love and this month I’m working with the Bodyform VIP Pink Ticket Campaign to prove to you just that!
This year the Bodyform VIP Pink Ticket Campaign is all about letting go of your period related inhibitions and doing what you want despite Mother Nature. Have a Very Important Period this year with an amazing music experience from Bodyform with the chance to win one of 10 once-in-a-lifetime VIP European Music Festival Experiences plus up to £500,000 of music gig vouchers!

Having my period when I have anything planned has always filled me with dread but now that I’m older and have found products like the Bodyform Ultra Towels which are discreet (yet mighty good at their job) and super comfortable I’m never afraid of being on anymore. Whenever I’ve been on holiday or have gone to a concert my worst nightmare has always been being on my period whilst I’m there. It was such an inconvenience and I remember praying for ages before each time that my super irregular period wouldn’t fall on the one weekend or week that I didn’t want it and low and behold it almost always would. I’d always get panicky that I’d need to take enough pads or tampons with me and that I’d need to go to the toilet and take my bag with me every time to hide them but nowadays I’d never have that issue; Being on my period isn’t the end of the world and neither is it something I’m embarrassed about. Believe it or not ladies, WE ALL HAVE PERIODS and it doesn’t have to be such a big pain to discreetly carry a pad around with you and pop to the toilet every now and again.
I’m heading off to see Little Mix this year with one of my bestie’s in the Summer which is going to be the second time we’ve seen them in 9 months and I literally cannot wait! I love going to concerts and really hope that Steve and I can also head out to another one together this year too. We’re not really festival people but I love a nice weekend away with a hotel and a concert and I really hope I get to do more of that this year – especially since we have a baby now, a date night like this is the perfect release and way to spend baby free time. I really want to see Britney but Steve isn’t keen and I’m gutted! I can still guarantee you that I’ll be on my period for any event or holiday I plan this year though!
Pick up your pack of promotional Bodyform Ultra Towels to be in with a chance of winning one of ten VIP European Festival experiences or a music e-gift voucher.
Do you speak openly about your periods? Are you planning any festivals or concerts this year?

It’s not the period or pad itself that bothers me – it’s the bloating that comes with it and sluggish feeling, that makes me not want to get my period on holiday! The prize with these packs is brilliant! xx

No concerts for me this year (well so far, who knows what is around the corner) and I’m totally not shy about talking about periods, though it is something that has come with age. Teenage me would leave the room at the mere mention of a towel/tampon haha x
Aaaaah periods, it’s been a while but I think I’m in for a rude awakening soon. I better get stocked up on the old Bodyform x
The sad thing is here in South Africa, and also in a whole bunch of other countries, young girls don’t have access to sanitary pads, and end up skipping school for a week every month because of it.
It’s so sad that this still happens in 2018 – we sometimes don’t realise how lucky we are!

Ooh what a great competition! Bodyform are such a great brand too x
I have a coil, so luckily I don’t get a period – it’s AMAZINGGG lol

I’m dying to do some festivals this year but not sure Joshua is! xx
I really don’t miss them. It’s been years since I had one and I’m not looking forward to the notion of them making a return when we try for a family.

I would hate to have a holiday planned and it coming on then. Mine is so random too so I never know when it will happen. Grrrr! X
Such a great campaign and amazing prize opportunity! I always use these pads. Such a saviour xx
I’ve always been one of those women who never cared when I was on my period. I think it’s good to accept that it’s nature, we all get it & that’s that!
