As it’s my first Mothers Day this year as a Mummy (something I’m incredibly excited by) I wanted to look into something sentimental that I could keep forever. As Madison will only be 6 months old this Mothers Day, she’s obviously not going to be able to pick something out herself and as much as I hope Steven pulls something special and thoughtful out of the bag, I thought it was only right that I treated myself to a little gift. After being contacted by the brand I took a little look around Personally Presented for personalised Mothers Day gifts and ended up finding a couple of bits that really caught my eye but instead of popping up a Gift Guide like I usually do, I thought I’d focus on one piece that has really taken taken my fancy.
After browsing for quite some time trying to decide, I came across this Ellie Beaumont watch with a stone coloured leather strap and absolutely fell in love. It’s the perfect piece with the gorgeous white face and gold hardware to go with almost any outfit and could become such a staple in my everyday jewellery. Of course, as I was looking for a personalised gift for Mothers Day I wanted to make sure the personalisation was something from Madison and after umm-ing and ahh-ing for quite some time I finally settled on just simply ‘Love, Madison x’ which I think is all it really needed. The watch was personalised on the back of the watch face and looks really lovely and I’m super happy with how it’s turned out.
I think with personalised gifts there’s always a risk of it looking a little tacky (or at least I think there is) and I could not be happier with the way that this watch has been personalised. I think it’s such a beautiful piece that I can wear all the time and still be reminded that it was from my first Mothers Day as Madison’s Mummy. The delivery time was super quick and the guys over at Personally Presented have been great to work with.
